Engaging Families in Their Child’s Hearing Care Management

The Phonak Pediatric Family-Centered Care (FCC) initiative recently created a Question Prompt List (QPL) to help parents get the information they need during their child’s clinic visit.

It covers three main categories:

Our Child’s Diagnosis
Family Concerns
Management of Devices

Providing the QPL to parents as part of every appointment may drive better outcomes for the child while also building relationships with the family. This tool can also help you navigate difficult conversations.

Phonak convened an international expert panel to find new approaches to working with families. This new tool was a result of those sessions.
